Laura Salesa exhibiting at Open Arts Café in London

By on 2012/05/16

These are exciting times for me as just last week I was chosen to participate in the Art event ‘City City Bang Bang’ at Open Arts Café in London on the 24th May 2012.

During the show, I will be exhibiting some of my artworks along with artist Begoña Fernández. There will be some music from Afrobilly Jones and Flux; spoken word from Sh’maya; poetrics by Ruth Davis; short films from Julie Angel and Team Cerf and musical shenanigans and singalongs from venue host Maya Levy.

Hope to see you all there!

Open Arts Café was established in 2008 by Maya Levy and Tyne Rafaeli to give artists a chance to present their work in developmental and/or performance stage in a non-pressurised, dynamic and constructive atmosphere.

The venue, WLS, is based in Marble Arch and has vast state-of-the-art facilities including studio spaces, a screening room, and a large versatile performance space. Investing and nurturing a collective of young professional artists who convene under one roof to create and develop ideas without censorship or discrimination is a continuing and growing tradition at WLS.
