At last! A decent music video for a song about girls

By on 2010/09/20

Aren’t you tired like me of all those music videos featuring the typical  “macho” style singer/band in their sleeveless t-shirts, drinking cocktails by the pool of their wealthy mansion while watching the girls dancing in their bikinis? Sounds familiar?

I am sure there are enough creative writers looking for work who could do better… or is this what people want to see? I was about to lose hope in the near future of the videoart when I came across this music video by 3OH!3 for their song “Double Vision”, an original and clever concept that easily could make them win a music video award for its originality. Watch for yourself!!!

3OH!3 (pronounced “three oh three”) is an electro hop  band formed by Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Mottegroup while attending the University of Colorado, in USA. The band is best known for their song “Don’t Trust Me” from their second album Want, which reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, and for their collaboration with Ke$ha, “My First Kiss”, from their third album Streets of Gold, which peaked at number nine. Their second single, “Starstrukk” with Katy Perry from their second album Want, was a top ten hit in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland and Australia.
